Dr. Abhishek Verma Hosts Vrindavan Ashram Inauguration; Mohan Bhagwat Calls for Population Policy Review

Vrindavan, March 25, 2026: The inauguration of Jeevan Deep Ashram in Vrindavan, led by Dr. Abhishek Verma, Chief National Coordinator of the ShivSena (NDA) alliance, became a platform for significant remarks on national policy and social responsibility by Mohan Bhagwat.

The Ashram, established under the guidance of Swami Yatindranand Giri, was formally inaugurated by Bhagwat in the presence of prominent leaders and spiritual figures, including Mohan Yadav, Brajesh Pathak, Arif Mohammad Khan, Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Swami Avdheshanand Giri, and Sadhvi Ritambhara.

Addressing the gathering, Bhagwat emphasized the need to revisit India’s population policy, advocating for a three-child norm to ensure balanced social development. He also expressed concern over illegal infiltration, urging citizens to remain vigilant, identify intruders, and prevent them from gaining employment, stressing collective responsibility in maintaining national security and social harmony.
Highlighting the cultural dimension, Bhagwat underscored the role of Sanatan values and noted that ashrams serve as important institutions in shaping society, culture, and individual character.

The event marked a convergence of spiritual leadership and public life on the sacred land of Vrindavan, reflecting themes of seva, cultural continuity, and national thought.

Concluding the ceremony, Dr. Verma delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Bhagwat, the sant community, and all dignitaries for their presence and guidance on the occasion.
